Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the previous frontwoman of metalcore group The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa (born on July 31, 1985) White-Gluz is a Canadian vocalist, known for being the former leading singer and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group The Agonist and her current role as the lead singer in Swedish popular Death Metal group Arch Enemy. She sings with both smooth and grizzly vocals. However, she's mainly a part of the metalcore genre and melodic death metal, she has appeared as the guest vocalist of powerful metal, symphonic rock and deathcore, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf as well as performed live with Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. The Agonist (2004-2014) In 2004 White-Gluz formed The Agonist (then named "Tempest") with other band members Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White-Gluz released three albums during her time as vocalist for the Agonist. They parted ways in the spring of 2014, when she was asked to become the singer of Arch Enemy.
