Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actress, singer as well as a writer and director. Most well-known is her acting as Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the leading actress in those films. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son born on January 8, 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle is her older sister, and she's an artist. Benson attended the Reform Jewish synagogue while growing in her teens. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is also Jewish. Benson was a part of Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's ending. Her talents as a writer were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she directed Drones (2010). Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist across the globe with 500 who belong to the Scooby Gang. Slayers may be awakened as they reach the right age. Soledad, for example was awakened at her sixteenth. Ruth Connell will play Rowena in Supernatural Season 10. According to reports, she's an old-school mysterious witch.
